Cross-flow recuperator

Design and application

- The heat exchanger consists of a package of aluminum plates, cross-formed, between which two air flows alternately and crosswise - exhaust and supply air flows. The temperature and humidity of the treated air changes.
- The recuperator is equipped with by-pass (bypass channel), which provides frost protection as well as energy recovery power regulation.
- Optionally the recuperator can be equipped with an integrated mixing chamber.
- The heat exchanger transfers apparent heat from the more heated air stream to the less heated air stream - in winter the exhaust air heat is utilized to heat the supply air, in summer the supply air is cooled by the lower temperature of the exhaust air

Features

- Energy utilization is carried out at a high degree of separation of the two air flows (99.9%).
- The energy recovery efficiency reaches 80%, depending on the air flow velocity, mass flow rates and relative humidity
